Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Medical Surgical Specialist to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a key member of our medical surgical unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to medical surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and report patient vital signs and changes in condition
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
  • 1 year of nursing experience in a medical surgical setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Certification in area of specialty
