About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of world-class healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assessing, and addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identifying and prioritizing patient needs, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and policies.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year Nursing experience.
