Clinical Psychologist

Henry Ford Health System is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Trauma Recovery Center (TRC) team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing trauma-informed assessment, psychotherapy, and case management services to survivors of trauma and violent crime.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct clinical intakes for new clients using a trauma-informed approach and identify service needs when appropriate.
- Provide short-term trauma-informed evidence-based individual and group psychotherapy, as needed crisis intervention, comprehensive case management, and multidisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare providers.
- Develop a comprehensive treatment and service plan for each client, integrating knowledge from a wide range of human service resources.
- Facilitate coordination of services among various agencies, advocate for and link clients to needed services, and help clients gain eligibility for Social Security Disability, Crime Victim Compensation, and other socioeconomic support resources.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited program.
- Pre-doctoral internship and Doctoral Program must have been APA accredited.
- Minimum of one year experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred, including during training.
- Training/specialization with trauma-informed care/trauma populations.
- Effective writing, communication, and analytical skills.
- Research design and grant writing experience preferred.
- Programmatic planning experience preferred.
