Job Title: Cashier

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at The Country Meat Co Marketplace. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, restocking shelves and supplies as needed.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and promote a positive store atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
