As a Floater Teacher Assistant at Acelero Learning, you will have the chance to acquire valuable experience and develop transferable skills that pave the way for a fulfilling career in education. Collaborating closely with the Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in the effective management of a Head Start classroom catering to children aged 3-5 years. Key Responsibilities:


• Foster a child-centered curriculum and learning atmosphere that promotes positive social interactions, active participation in learning, and self-motivation, thereby encouraging development across all domains for children of varying abilities.


• Address behavioral challenges by observing to identify potential causes, implementing preventive strategies, teaching new social and communication skills, and partnering with families to support the child's growth at home.


• Utilize observations and anecdotal records to document children's progress and tailor the curriculum to meet individual needs.
Qualifications:


• Excellent communication and writing abilities.


• A genuine enthusiasm for working with children.


• CDA credentials or a commitment to enroll and complete within two years, or an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in any field, or enrollment in a program to obtain such a degree.
