Job Overview

In a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment at Genesis Capital, we seek an experienced Business Loan Coordinator to partner with our Sales team and achieve loan production goals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline Management: Assist in building sponsor and loan files, collecting conditions, managing loan processes, and communicating status to customers.
  • Sales Support: Work closely with the Sales Team throughout the course of loan files, including follow-up with customers, collecting documents, and serving as the main internal point of contact for assigned loans.
  • Loan Structuring: Utilize knowledge of front-end guidance, underwriting requirements, and loan products to develop needs lists based on file reviews.
  • Document Review: Identify potential issues or 'red flags' in loan documentation to ensure packages are sufficient and complete.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in loan processing or a similar role, preferably in the private/hard money space.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, specifically Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent follow-up abilities.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to learn new skills and concepts quickly.
