Job Summary

The Registered Behavior Technician at Elite Spectrum ABA plays a vital role in delivering high-quality behavior analysis services to patients. Working under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or RBT Supervisor, this individual will implement procedures, collect data, and assist in conducting assessments to ensure exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement procedures such as continuous and discontinuous measurement.
  • Collect data on client behaviors electronically.
  • Describe behaviors and environments in observable and measurable terms.
  • Assist in conducting preference and/or functional assessments.
  • Identify essential components of a written skill acquisition plan and prepare for sessions.
  • Use contingencies of reinforcement and discrete-trial teaching methods.
  • Carry out stimulus control transfer, prompt and prompt fading, generalization, maintenance, shaping, and token economy processes.
  • Incorporate interventions based on adjusting elements such as motivating operations and discerning stimuli.
  • Put differential reinforcement procedures into effect.
  • Prepare objective session notes and maintain a consistent dialogue with supervisors.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body.
  • 1+ year of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician.
  • BACB RBT Certification (active and in good standing).
  • American Heart Association CPR/BLS with a live component or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
