Job Summary

As a Cardiac Device Specialist in our Outpatient Cardiology department, you will play a critical role in providing technical and clinical services to patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the accurate interpretation of device data, proper device programming, and effective patient management.

Key Responsibilities

Perform Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED) interrogations and arrhythmia interpretation
Manage patient diagnostics in manufacturer remote monitoring websites
Analyze and manage transmission data, entering information into the electronic medical record (EMR)
Collaborate with supervising EP providers, Lead Cardiac Device Specialist, and EP Manager to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

Certificate of completion from an approved cardiac device technical school or 2 years of experience in cardiac pacing or electrophysiology
1 year of EP clinical experience as a Cardiac Device Specialist
Strong preference for Certified Clinical Device Specialist (CCDS) certification through Heart Rhythm Society within 24 months of hire
