The Army National Guard is seeking highly organized and detail-oriented individuals to fill the role of Supply Chain Management Specialist. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring the success of mission planning by overseeing the back-end operations of logistics.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Supply Chain Management Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing requests, and performing tasks related to supply chain management. Your primary duty will be to ensure that equipment records and parts are up-to-date and efficiently managed. You will also operate material-handling equipment and perform various administrative duties.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining accurate stock lists, inventory, and material control records
  • Administering document control procedures and processing requests
  • Operating material-handling equipment and performing prescribed load-list and shop-stock list duties

Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Additionally, you should have a preference for physical work and be interested in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Your math skills, bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, and typing abilities will also come in handy. A strong interest in stock control and accounting procedures is essential for this position.
