Job Summary:

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Material Handler for the Portland Power Center. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a starting hourly rate of $21.00.

Key Responsibilities:
Sort, distribute, and supply materials efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S duties and safety procedures
Participate in team tier meetings to review daily goals and metrics
Assist in unloading inbound material trucks and handling disposal of pallets and crates
Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to store and manage excess and/or obsolete material
Execute urgent requests from Supervisor and production employees
Write DMRs as necessary for damaged or inaccurately ordered incoming material

Requirements:
Experience working in a manufacturing environment (inventory, receiving, production)
Ability to operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift
Authorized to work in the United States without Company Sponsorship
Ability to work overtime, weekdays, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Kanban, Vista, AS400, or related order-management systems
Shipping dock experience
Certification to operate a Forklift
