Job Title: High-Speed Equipment Specialist

At Vets Hired, we're seeking a skilled High-Speed Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing high-speed printing equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain high-speed printing equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures using diagnostic tools and product schematics
  • Manage parts inventory and territory to comply with established operating standards
  • Perform and oversee machine factory modifications and software/operating systems upgrades
  • Establish and maintain face-to-face customer relations
  • Understand the customer's entire workflow and associated print management applications
  • Maintain required interface with pre/post equipment and vendors
  • Schedule work activity to accommodate customer's working environment and end users SLAs
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive equipment

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years related field experience for Service Tech I or II
  • PC literacy and understanding of basic network concepts
  • Technical/Trade/Business Certificate preferred
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven electro-mechanical skills
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
  • Extensive knowledge of complete product systems, software, servers, and channel configuration
  • Ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment

Work Schedule & Travel Requirements:

  • Monday through Friday, 3rd shift (10PM-6AM)
  • Overtime opportunities may be available when necessary
