Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating and profitable growth opportunities with both current and new customers, as well as managing existing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, procurement, engineering, and production, to determine costs and feasibility of producing proposed projects
  • Work with product development, innovation, operations, and supply chain teams to facilitate the launch of new products and manage current business
  • Host project meetings to allow customers to fully elaborate their target goals and provide direction in internal project status meetings and new product meetings
  • Apply understanding of manufacturing and regulatory compliance to sales strategies
  • Assist in product education at retail levels when appropriate
  • Apply a working knowledge of cosmetic chemistry to sales strategies and manage new onboarding projects for new or existing customers
  • Create project timelines to give customers visibility on deliverables
  • Handle escalations of material delays to ensure project timelines are on track
  • Assist engineering with sourcing material to present customer options
  • Work with processing team to determine best production strategies
  • Work with Quality to develop client quality agreements
  • Manage and execute site-level service agreements
  • Regularly obtain and review client forecasting data
Requirements
  • Experience working with Fortune 100 customers
  • Experience in the health and beauty industry, specifically in sales for a lab, vendor, or contract manufacturer
  • Must understand a working manufacturing ERP system and database
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree
  • Flexible; able to move from one type of task to another without loss of speed or efficiency
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills, including professional business communications
  • Ability to influence others - persuade people through logical, emotional, or cooperative appeals
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and quickly respond to customer needs
  • Superior problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
