Per Diem CT Technologist

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue, which will be used to diagnose medical conditions.
Responsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' anatomy
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location
- Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
- Ensure the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred)
- Venipuncture certification (preferred)
