Per Diem CT Technologist

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Los Angeles, California. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing medical conditions and providing accurate imaging results.
Responsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information.
- Ensure the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR
- Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR
