Franklin Pierce University is seeking a highly qualified Director of Didactic Education to join our team. As a key member of our Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) program, you will be responsible for the organization and development of the didactic education phase of the program.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the didactic curriculum, ensuring alignment with program competencies and accreditation standards.
- Teach a variety of classes in the didactic and clinical phases of the program, utilizing evidence-based teaching methods and materials.
- Coordinate didactic curricular offerings, including content alignment, weekly schedules, and room requests.
- Assist with the administration of the didactic education phase, including academic advising, admissions, and program evaluation.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement remediation strategies for students.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of student grades, remediation plans, and didactic issues.
- Participate in institutional activities and committees, promoting the program and enhancing its visibility.
- Master's degree in a related field, with a minimum of three years of clinical experience as a practicing provider.
- Previous teaching experience or preceptorship is preferred.
- Knowledge of educational, management, and adult learning theory and principles.
- Ability to administer, assess, and document programmatic education trends and data.
