Automotive Repair Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Routinely perform diagnostics and repair work in areas such as engine repair, transmission/transmission repair, suspension and steering, brakes (including ABS/traction control work), electrical, heating/air conditioning, and other jobs as assigned.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills and continue to develop additional technical skills to enable flexibility in work assignments.

Requirements:
- Ability to accurately repair vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment and provide technical guidance at a level normally acquired through the completion of six (6) years or more as an Automotive Technician.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or car dealer certification as a "Master Automotive Technician" preferred, or the equivalent knowledge and experience with the ability to attain the required certifications within 12 months of hire (Paid for by AAA).
- National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) L1 (Advanced Engine Performance) certification is preferred.
- Ability to train and mentor other Repair Technicians and Service Advisors.
- The ability to complete satisfactory Pre-Employment Screenings (background check, drug screening, fitness for duty assessment) if offered the position.
- Authorized to work in the USA.
