Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of engineers in delivering cloud solutions to customers. As a Cloud Professional Services Manager at Canonical, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers who work on designing and implementing cloud solutions using open source technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Ceph.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader who can drive collaboration with other teams and customers, and who has a passion for developing and growing people. You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and providing career development feedback to your team members, and for identifying and measuring team health indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of engineers in designing and implementing cloud solutions
  • Represent your team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers
  • Develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices
  • Plan and manage progress on agreed goals and projects
  • Collaborate with other leaders to drive business outcomes

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies, such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph, etc.
  • Practical knowledge of Linux and networking
  • Experience in technical presales and customer-facing roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Passion for developing and growing people
  • Experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring engineers
  • Organized and able to ensure timely, high-quality results
