Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure associates at the property are driving company initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional guest and employee experiences.
  • Maximize revenues and flow-through to GOP to meet or exceed budgeted EBITDA.
  • Manage labor standards and property-level expenses to achieve maximum flow-through to the bottom line profit.
  • Monitor collection of in-house guest balances and direct bill receivables, commission payments by vendors, and issuance of refund checks.
  • Participate in monthly inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring purchases are within budget and by approved vendors.
  • Work with the District Manager and Regional Director of Field Sales to manage all sales activities of the property and meet revenue objectives.
  • Identify and seek out potential business in the local market, maintaining relationships with local companies and key people to increase the company's visibility.
  • Promote 100% guest satisfaction throughout the property, instilling this objective to AGM and hourly associates.
  • Ensure all guest-related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Recruit qualified applicants, train employees in accordance with company standards, and communicate all policies and procedures to the entire staff.
  • Conduct regular meetings to provide various information, including company communications, policy reviews, local property activities, goals, etc.
  • Inspect and document repairs and cleanliness of the property with AGM to ensure optimum upkeep and repair, room cleanliness, and overall property appearance.
  • Build solid client relationships in the District and with Managers and staff at each assigned hotel.
  • Uphold and enforce ESH standards and policy compliance at the hotel level.

Compensation

Pay Ranges: $53,000 - $76,000 Annually (Colorado, Washington, California) or $57,000 - $87,000 Annually (New York City, Whitestone)

Requirements
  • Minimum three years related hospitality management experience required; 4-year degree highly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and software, including ability to use e-mail, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to organize multiple projects, manage and prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage and direct a staff to perform daily job tasks.
