Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Summit Pacific Medical Center. As a Cardiovascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for operating sonographic equipment and performing echo cardiography examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate sonographic equipment to perform echo cardiography examinations
  • Communicate results of examinations to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Manage daily operations of the sonographic department, including patient scheduling and equipment maintenance
  • Report equipment failures and participate in quality assessment (QA) activities
  • Maintain high standards of medical ethics and stay up-to-date with new procedures and technologies
Requirements
  • Graduate of a formal Echo Cardiography Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
  • Three years of experience in echo cardiography, with five years preferred
  • Experience in routine stress and non-stress examinations
Unit Specific Information

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist at Summit Pacific Medical Center, you will be responsible for coordinating program activities to ensure consistent delivery of quality patient-centered care and efficient operations in support of hospital goals and objectives.

You will lead the development, implementation, and ongoing assessment and improvement of Cardiography programs, patient-care protocols, standards of care, policies, and procedures. You will also engage with internal and external partners to advance the SPMC mission and vision.
