Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Summit Pacific Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment, producing high-quality radiographs, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, including X-Ray and CT scanners, to produce high-quality radiographs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of radiographs, including documentation and report posting.
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, patients, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in the department's Quality Assurance program and perform assigned Quality Control tasks.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with continuing education and in-service programs to maintain proficiency in duties.
  • Attend department meetings and special meetings as required.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • At least one year of RT experience, preferred.
  • Current and unrestricted Radiologic Technologist Certification through the Washington State Department of Health.
  • BLS Certification.
Working Conditions

This position requires occasional patient scheduling for Mammography, X-Ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound. The technologist will be required to maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
