Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist/Behavioral Therapist to join our team at Clarvida - Washington. As a key member of our staff, you will work with adults aged 18 and older who have been discharged from lesser levels of care and require additional behavior supports to maintain their placement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior support plans in collaboration with clients and their support systems.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with clients to focus on and work towards their reported goals.
  • Engage with family members and residential staff to educate and collaborate on ways to successfully work with clients.
  • Maintain ongoing evaluations, progress notes, and documentation to show client progress or behaviors to address.
  • Participate in after-hour phone crisis response approximately 1 week every 3 months.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field AND two (2) years' direct treatment experience with clients with a mental health diagnosis, under the supervision of a mental health professional (supervised internship/practicum hours contribute to this experience) AND Eligible as a Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor through WA DOH (we can assist with submission); OR
  • Licensed in Washington as a Behavior Analyst with accompanying Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst.
  • Satisfactory results of fingerprinting and background checks
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance
  • Preferred experience: Geriatric, SPMI, long-term care populations, Behavioral Health patients, Clinical or Case management in a rehabilitation philosophy
