About the Role:
This is a leadership position responsible for providing direction to an assigned team and serving as the manager point of contact for the assigned area. The supervisor will focus on strategic continuous improvements and area processes to deliver line stability and drive employee engagement improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to team members to ensure all Safety, Quality, Cost, and Customer Delivery goals are achieved.
Engage and develop team members through utilization of Skills matrix and coaching skills.
Own and develop JDS and Skills matrix, and create a positive work environment fostering open communication and dialogue.
Ensure effective performance evaluations, appropriate counseling measures, and accurate and timely timecard inputs.
Support the Electrolux Management System and implement continuous improvement processes and cost savings.
Lead line balancing, time studies, SMED, problem-solving, and ensure labor map adherence.
Support Autonomous maintenance and environmental initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial technology degree plus equivalent work experience or equivalent work experience.
Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret documents & drawings and write detailed reports and well-versed in process improvement methodologies.
Lead and participate in root cause analysis and prior experience in Material Flow, Welding, Enamel Stamping, or Robotics is preferred.
Experience in Microsoft Office and knowledge in ERP, Time and Attendance, and OEE systems.
Ability to speak Spanish, a plus.
