The Iowa Primary Care Association is seeking a skilled Primary Care Provider to join our team in providing healthcare services to migrant farmworkers in Iowa City.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary care services via a mobile clinic to migrant farmworkers. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting health histories and physicals, diagnosing, and determining courses of action. Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to migrant farmworkers, including health histories and physicals, diagnosis, and treatment
- Travel to farmworker job sites and provide services via a mobile clinic
- Work independently and as part of a team to provide comprehensive care
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Iowa
- Experience in primary care and mobile clinic settings
- Bilingual skills in Spanish (strongly desired)
Benefits:
- Hourly compensation: $50/hour
- Mileage reimbursement

The Iowa Primary Care Association's Migrant Farmworker Program provides healthcare services to migrant farmworkers in Iowa City. Our program addresses the unique healthcare needs of this population, including language barriers and transportation issues.
