The Iowa Primary Care Association is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to become part of an outpatient community health organization.
About the organization:
This community health organization serves as a vital source of comprehensive primary care, catering to under-resourced patients. They provide integrated medical, dental, and behavioral health services to ensure that all patients receive coordinated and holistic care in one location.
Position Overview:
Clinic Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8am-7pm; Friday: 8am-5pm; Saturday: 8am-12pm; schedule details will be discussed during the interview.
Call Schedule: Light and rotated weekly among providers.
Patient Load: 8-16 patients per day.
Appointment Duration: 20-minute time slots.
Team Composition: 1 MD, 3 PAs, 4.2 NPs, 0.5 RNs, 1.5 MAs.
EHR System: Epic.
Ideal Candidate: Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Current advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner licenses in the State of Iowa.
- Successful completion of a certification examination administered by the American Nursing Association, with ongoing maintenance of certification through continuing education and relevant work experience.
- Current Federal DEA and Iowa CSA registrations in good standing.
Benefits:

- Salary Range: Starting at $121,000, with potential increases based on experience.
