HealthPort Inc is seeking a skilled Crisis Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

The Crisis Specialist will be responsible for coordinating follow-ups with clients, developing a network of community crisis support, and carrying out the Crisis Stabilization Plan developed by the treatment team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards, and Maryland State Regulations.
  • Carry out triage on emergency mental health calls for the agency's on-call system.
  • Complete all required documentation and reports in a timely fashion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Full valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Formal training or significant experience in crisis interventions.
  • Experience with conflict resolution and de-escalating techniques.
