Crisis Intervention Specialist

The Crisis Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for coordinating follow-ups with clients and developing a network of community crisis support. This is a full-time position with a weekly work schedule consisting of 3-4 overnight shifts, including a Saturday or Sunday.
Job Responsibilities:- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards, and Maryland State Regulations.
- Carry out the Crisis Stabilization Plan developed by the treatment team.
- Carry out triage on emergency mental health calls for the agency's on-call system.
- Complete all required documentation and reports in a timely fashion.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Full valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
- Formal training or significant experience in crisis interventions.
- Experience with conflict resolution and de-escalating techniques.
