Crisis Intervention Specialist

HealthPort Inc is seeking a skilled Crisis Specialist to join our team. As a Crisis Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating follow-ups with clients referring to treatment and developing a network of community crisis support.

• Maintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State Regulations.
• Carry out the Crisis Stabilization Plan developed by the treatment team.
• Carry out triage on emergency mental health calls for agency on call system.
• Complete all required documentation and reports in a timely fashion.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid
• Full valid driver's license and safe driving record is required.
• Formal training or significant experience in crisis interventions.
• Experience with conflict resolution and de-escalating techniques.
