Job Title: General Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our operations in the USA - Fontana, Bar Harbor Rd location. As a key member of our Solutions division, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operation, compliance, and financial results for our designated operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee manpower, recruiting, retention, and development of people for the operation
  • Ensure procedures exist to guarantee client service, productivity, and facilities and equipment maintenance
  • Set goals to provide continuous improvement for assigned site
Requirements:
  • Budgeting and P&L management experience required
  • At least 3 years of experience in an operations management related position
  • Strong proficiency in basic MS Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4-Year College Degree preferred, will consider equivalent experience or combination of education and experience
  • Prefer 5 years experience in a leadership role in a logistics/distribution/supply chain environment in an operations management capacity
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear.

The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision.

Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and climb. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Must be able to stand for several hours per day to perform required job duties as required by the nature of the business that is supported.

Must be able to travel by plane and/or automobile.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Working conditions are normal for a warehouse environment. Exposure to changing warehouse temperatures is possible.
