Las Vegas Foot and Ankle Centers LLP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Job Summary:The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, including preparing patients for exams, obtaining vital signs, and assisting with minor surgical procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, communicating effectively with patients and healthcare professionals, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for exams and procedures, including taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with exams, procedures, and patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including updating medical histories and medication lists.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
- Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Assist with minor surgical procedures, including preparing patients and equipment.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in a professional medical office setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- PC proficient with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Current CMA certification.
- 1 year of experience in a podiatry office.
- Experience using ModMed.
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology.
- Competitive hourly wage range of $18.00 to $23.00 per hour.
- Eligible to participate in company benefit program on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
- Eligible to participate in our 401(k) program with company match on the first of the month following two months of employment.
