Position Overview:
As a vital member of our team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, managing and fulfilling their orders efficiently.
Compensation:
Starting Rate: $21.12/hour (Based on Experience)
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, Day Shift (Overtime opportunities may be available)
Location:
Milwaukee, WI
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first line of service for customers by processing and fulfilling orders received at the counter, via phone, or online.
- Provide guidance to customers regarding pricing and materials while assisting in the warehouse.
- Accurately pick and pack materials from warehouse inventory for will-call pickups and local deliveries, ensuring timely loading of delivery vehicles or customer cars.
- Oversee the opening and closing of the branch on designated occasions, prioritizing security and customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and listening, with a preference for prior customer service experience.
- Ability to acquire product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries and identify suitable materials and components.
- Strong mathematical and technological proficiency.
- Capacity to adapt swiftly to changing demands and manage high-pressure situations, including customer service challenges and tight deadlines.
- Proficient in navigating multiple software applications simultaneously and comfortable with internet research.
- Physical capability to frequently lift, push, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Experience in a dynamic industry that embraces change is preferred.
- Background in electrical warehousing, electrical construction, or warehouse equipment is advantageous.
