About the Position –
We are seeking a Financial Planning Associate to collaborate closely with our financial advisors. This role involves providing essential administrative support, conducting research, and assisting in various financial planning tasks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working autonomously in a focused office setting, following a hybrid work schedule.
About You –

- You have a foundational knowledge of Financial Planning and can effectively listen to client needs to create tailored financial strategies.
Job Responsibilities –
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new financial planning clients.
- Monitor the progress of planning cases and ensure timely advancement.
- Assist in preparing financial analyses and plans under the guidance of advisors, including developing presentation materials.
- Create visual aids such as charts and graphs for client implementation meetings.
- Collaborate with advisors to research and provide relevant options and information regarding financial advice, insurance, and investments.
- Support case solutions, obtain insurance quotes, and assist in the implementation and follow-up of insurance for clients.
- Compile necessary materials for advisor review prior to client meetings.
- Provide general assistance to advisors.
- Contribute to special projects as required.
- Support business development and marketing initiatives.
Requirements –
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in the financial services sector (internships and summer positions are acceptable).
- Completion of a registered paraplanner (RP) program is advantageous.
- Prior enrollment or willingness to enroll in a CFP certification program.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial planning software (e.g., eMoney).
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills, managing both physical and digital resources effectively.
Compensation –
- Starting at $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
- Performance-based bonus opportunities.
