Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counseling services to clients with substance abuse and mental health needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in substance abuse and mental health treatment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. social work, psychology, counseling) or Master's degree in a related field (e.g. social work, psychology, counseling).
- Two years of experience in a social services-related position or completion of a Master's degree in a social services-related field.
- Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based treatment modalities (e.g. CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing).
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with co-occurring disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy and flexibility. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team-based setting, prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities, and maintain a high level of professionalism and composure in challenging situations.
