Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pathologists' Assistant to join our team at UAB Health System. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in providing anatomic pathology services under the direction and supervision of a pathologist.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including gross examination of surgical pathology specimens, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the laboratory or pathology practice in a cost-effective manner. You will interact with pathologists in a similar manner to physician assistants, carrying out duties under their direction and supervision.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a BS in biological or allied health science, graduation from a NAACLS accredited Pathologists' Assistant program, and two (2) years' experience. You must also hold current ASCP Certification and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, you will need to be self-directed, self-motivated, and able to work independently, with a strong focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
