Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between our company and site locations, ensuring effective communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Supervise and lead a team of delivery staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Manage daily data entry, create work orders, and optimize daily workload in our logistics optimization software.
  • Assign routes and orders to drivers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with client personnel to ensure successful partnerships and resolve any issues that may impact our operations.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to client accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage staff time systems, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of hours worked.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Manage local vehicle maintenance programs, ensuring our fleet is well-maintained and operational.
  • Report incidents and emergencies to the Operations Director, ensuring prompt response and resolution.
  • Coordinate towing and vehicle/driver retrieval in the event of a breakdown or accident.
  • Oversee staff ride-alongs and audits, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Clean criminal background and drug screen.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to read and follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to review facts, make decisions, and convey information to staff and management.
  • Ability to drive in various weather conditions and safely operate a vehicle for extended periods.
