Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the introduction of new products into the facility, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruptions to production.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and profitability, leveraging lean manufacturing techniques and tools.
- Provide technical expertise in process technology, including equipment reliability, setup reduction, and material handling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement strategic initiatives, driving business growth and improvement.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- 4-year technical degree or equivalent education.
- Strong analysis skills, including process, capacity, cost/benefit, waste stream, and quality tools.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, including flow, PQ, equipment reliability, and setup reduction.
- Facilitation and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Computer skills, including advanced level proficiency in Excel and Access.
- Experience in design, specification, purchase, and installation of new equipment.
- Project management and leadership ability, with a proven track record of delivering results.
