We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and population-specific needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, integrating direct and indirect patient care activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting empowerment and self-management.
- Participate in hourly rounds, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
- Utilize the SBAR process to minimize risks associated with handoffs and transitions in care.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current Nevada nursing license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred.
