Key Responsibilities- Oversee multiple client engagements, contracts, and projects concurrently.
- Conduct geotechnical engineering assessments, studies, and calculations.
- Draft and compile engineering reports and documentation.
- Execute field investigations, sample collection, geological surveys, and mapping activities.
- Perform site observations during construction and maintain detailed logs and records.
- Engage and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members at all levels.
- Guide, mentor, and supervise junior engineers and staff.
- Evaluate technical reports produced by junior engineers.
- Assess engineering calculations completed by junior engineers.
- Assist in business development and marketing initiatives, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
- Adhere to Shannon & Wilson's Quality Assurance standards.
- Promote and comply with Health and Safety and Loss Prevention policies.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering.
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Geological Engineering, supported by a Bachelor's degree.
- Degree in Engineering or Geology.
- 7 to 14 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Possession of a Professional Engineering (PE) License in the applicable state.
- Experience in mentoring and supervising team members.
