We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team at Riverside Community Care. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing support, supervision, and skills training to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and supervision to residents in a residential setting
  • Develop and implement skills training programs to promote independence and self-advocacy
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Document resident progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Valid driver's license and ability to transport residents
  • Ability to lift and assist residents as needed
