Our diverse drink selection includes a variety of teas and smoothies, all within a warm and inviting atmosphere designed for dedicated individuals.

THE ROLE

As a key member of our team, you will engage with customers, delivering exceptional service by assisting them with their food and beverage choices, crafting and presenting their orders, and fostering a friendly coffeehouse environment.

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of our coffee and food offerings
• Guide customers through our menu, providing insights and answering inquiries
• Maintain a tidy workspace and customer area, free from clutter
• Develop expertise in coffee to effectively assist our patrons
• Prepare and serve coffee beverages according to established recipes and techniques
• Manage inventory by restocking coffee supplies and ensuring equipment is ready for use
• Ensure equipment operates smoothly by adhering to operational guidelines and maintaining cleanliness
• Promote a safe and hygienic work environment by following health and safety standards
• Enhance your knowledge through training opportunities and industry resources
• Arrive on time and in proper uniform for all scheduled shifts
• Leave a lasting positive impression on customers to encourage their return
• Express gratitude to customers for their visit and invite them back

YOU WILL THRIVE AT BLUE COLLAR COFFEE CO. IF

• You have at least one year of experience as a Barista (preferred)
• You possess basic arithmetic skills (capable of adding, subtracting, and providing change)
• Your handwriting is clear and legible
• You demonstrate strong customer service and communication abilities
