Our extensive menu features a variety of drinks, including teas and smoothies, all within a warm and inviting atmosphere that caters to hardworking individuals.

THE ROLE

As a member of our team, you will engage with customers and deliver outstanding service by guiding them through our food and beverage options, crafting their orders, and ensuring a delightful coffeehouse experience through a friendly and welcoming demeanor.

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Acquiring comprehensive knowledge of our coffee and food offerings
• Informing customers about our menu items and addressing their inquiries
• Maintaining a tidy workspace and customer area, free from clutter
• Developing a solid understanding of coffee to assist our guests effectively
• Preparing and serving coffee beverages according to established recipes and techniques
• Managing inventory by restocking coffee supplies and maintaining equipment
• Ensuring equipment operates smoothly by adhering to operational guidelines and cleanliness standards
• Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by following sanitation protocols
• Enhancing your knowledge through educational opportunities and industry resources
• Arriving on time and in proper uniform for all scheduled shifts and meetings
• Leaving a positive impression on customers to encourage repeat visits
• Expressing gratitude to customers for their patronage and inviting them to return

YOU WILL THRIVE AT BLUE COLLAR COFFEE CO. IF

• You have at least one year of experience as a Barista (preferred)
• You possess basic arithmetic skills (able to perform addition, subtraction, and provide change)
• Your handwriting is clear and legible
• You exhibit strong customer service and communication abilities
