At Blue Collar Coffee Co., we take pride in serving exceptional espresso and artisanal coffee beverages crafted from premium beans sourced from Ruby Coffee Roasters in Wisconsin. Our diverse drink menu features a variety of teas and smoothies, all within a warm and inviting atmosphere designed for hardworking individuals.

THE ROLE

As a Coffee Specialist, you will engage with customers to provide outstanding service, assisting them with their food and beverage choices, crafting and presenting their orders, and ensuring a pleasant coffeehouse experience by fostering a friendly environment.

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of our coffee and food offerings
  • Guide customers by explaining menu items and answering inquiries
  • Maintain cleanliness in both work and customer areas
  • Develop a solid understanding of coffee to assist guests effectively
  • Prepare and serve coffee beverages according to established recipes
  • Manage inventory by restocking coffee supplies and equipment
  • Ensure equipment operates smoothly by adhering to maintenance guidelines
  • Uphold a safe and sanitary work environment in line with health regulations
  • Enhance your job knowledge through ongoing education and industry engagement
  • Arrive on time and in proper uniform for all scheduled shifts
  • Leave a lasting positive impression on customers to encourage return visits
  • Express gratitude to customers for their patronage and invite them back

Requirements:

YOU WILL THRIVE AT BLUE COLLAR COFFEE CO. IF

  • You have at least one year of experience as a Barista (preferred)
  • You possess basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Your handwriting is clear and legible
  • You demonstrate strong customer service and communication abilities
