Role Summary:
The Registered Nurse will employ the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care. This role entails maintaining professional accountability for the care provided to assigned patients, assessing the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other healthcare providers, and coordinating patient care in collaboration with various departments. Upholding patient rights and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information are paramount. Responsibilities will be executed in alignment with our mission, values, and service standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of an accredited registered nursing program.
- Licensure: Must possess and maintain a current RN license in the state of practice, adhering to all state board of nursing regulations.
- Physical Requirements: - Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds - Prolonged standing and walking are required during each shift - Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary for job functions.
- Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be required based on the specific unit or position, including but not limited to: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, and others as necessary.
