KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Corporate Executive Chef in achieving labor and food cost objectives.
- Oversee the efficient and professional operation of the kitchen on a daily basis.
- Foster a skilled and enthusiastic kitchen team that adheres to food preparation standards through hands-on training and encouragement.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all dishes prepared and served.
- Supervise food preparation and presentation to meet our restaurant's standards.
- Become well-versed in our service steps, products, menu, and operational systems.
- Collaborate with all restaurant and hotel teams to enhance productivity and guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all corporate SOPs and comply with local labor regulations.
- Maintain compliance with food labeling, storage, and temperature control protocols.
- Thoroughly learn the menu to effectively train kitchen staff on preparation and flavor profiles.
- Complete tasks efficiently to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Monitor kitchen standards in food preparation, storage, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
- Stay informed about industry trends and demonstrate a genuine interest in culinary developments.
- Communicate effectively and professionally while actively listening to team members.
- Support and mentor new team members, providing guidance and encouragement.
