Culinary Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Expert to join our dedicated kitchen staff at the Memphis Chess Club. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in our professional kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare all served food to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours, ensuring seamless service to our members and guests.
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions to ensure accurate and efficient service.
• Follow standard recipes and special diet orders to cater to the diverse needs of our members and visitors.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all sanitation and food production codes.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields.
