Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Pre-construction/Estimating department. As an Estimator, you will work closely with our team to review drawings, perform accurate quantity and cost estimating, and develop pricing for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review drawings to understand project scope and perform accurate quantity and cost estimating
  • Develop pricing for construction projects in collaboration with the Chief Estimator
  • Communicate and work directly with subcontractors to seek out bid solicitations and perform post-bid follow-up
  • Evaluate documents to determine constructability issues and value engineering opportunities
Requirements
  • Certificate, Associates or BS in Construction Management or equivalent construction related experience
  • 3+ years of estimating experience with exposure to construction management practices
  • General knowledge of construction costs and principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Solid computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office software (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
