About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team on a 24 hour day shift basis. As a key member of our Med Surg unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, communicating effectively with families and caregivers as needed.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in a medical-surgical setting, preferably with a focus on critical care.
  • A valid and current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • BLS certification and ACLS preferred.
