Project Engineer Role
The Construction Worldwide team is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to provide technical support to our project managers and superintendents. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of project document control, enterprise software applications, and cost control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain project document control systems
- Review project specifications, calculations, and drawings to ensure compliance with contract requirements
- Initiate new Requests for Information and review subcontractor Requests for Information
- Provide quantity takeoffs of materials to project managers for cost control, billing, and estimating duties
- Review subcontractor pricing and assist in maintaining project schedules
- Review ongoing construction work and maintain project as-built drawings
- Review and track project close-out requirements
Requirements:
- 4-year engineering or business degree or equivalent-related experience
- At least 3-4 years of experience in the U.S. construction industry
- Knowledge of Vista/ViewPoint or ProCore a plus
