Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Florida Medical Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring the smooth operation of our Proctology office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with clinical functions, including preparing patients for examination and treatment
  • Collect and record patient vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information
  • Administer injections and immunizations, and record them in our electronic health record system
  • Prepare and maintain medical supplies and equipment, including sterilizing and calibrating equipment as needed
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of clinical supplies, including ordering and stocking as necessary
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling follow-up appointments and entering referral information into our Practice Management System
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant certification program preferred
  • One year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software and systems
