Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health.

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team in a fast-paced family practice setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient care, including vital signs, injections, and EHR documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files and office inventory
  • Perform referrals, prior authorizations, and insurance verification as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Triaging patients, performing injections, and annual wellness visits
  • EHR documentation and incidental duties as needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Graduation from a recognized training facility for Medical Assistants
  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and strong customer service orientation
  • Basic computer proficiency and at least one year of medical office experience
  • Experience working Front and Back Office preferred
