This position involves collaborating closely with Team Leadership, the Store Trainer, and other qualified personnel to ensure that comprehensive training is delivered effectively. The Training Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the timely and high-quality onboarding of new team members, while also supporting various training initiatives across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
SPECIFIC DUTIES FOR TRAINING COORDINATOR
- Oversees the successful implementation and completion of training programs for both new and existing team members.
- Adheres to training timelines and objectives.
- Coordinates with Team Leaders and the Store Trainer to arrange training sessions for new hires during their initial shifts.
- Maintains communication with new team members and leadership to ensure timely onboarding processes.
- Facilitates specialized training sessions tailored to the operational needs of the team.
- Participates in scheduled Training Coordinator meetings.
- Models exemplary food safety and sanitation practices.
- Educates team members on customer service standards and provides constructive feedback.
- Instructs team members on new products, including their features and sales strategies.
- Ensures proper maintenance and care of all team equipment.
- Completes required training pathways and certifications.
- Maintains accurate training records utilizing the company’s learning management systems.
- Punctually arrives at the designated work area, adhering to the company’s dress code and grooming standards.
- Delivers exceptional customer service, promptly addressing customer inquiries and utilizing suggestive selling techniques.
- Maximizes sales through effective product preparation, storage, and merchandising practices.
- Ensures compliance with established health and safety procedures.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment, ensuring equipment meets safety standards.
- Completes assigned opening, mid, and closing tasks, ensuring accuracy in signage and pricing.
- Reports any safety hazards immediately.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by leadership.
SKILLS SPECIFIC TO TRAINING COORDINATOR
- Comfortable delivering presentations to both small and large groups.
- Able to teach and inspire others in a positive manner.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and familiar with software applications.

Minimum of 6 months of experience within the company or equivalent training experience in a retail environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Requires standing or walking for 6-8 hours during a workday.
- Involves hand use for grasping, fine manipulation, and pushing/pulling.
- Requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals approved by the FDA.
- Exposure to varying temperatures in storage areas.
- Ability to work in wet and/or cold conditions.
- Flexible scheduling required, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to operate tools and equipment safely.
The compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
